Not all captain's succeed in a  relief capacity. It isn't easy to adopt another  leader's system and management style. It's crucial that your relief is willing and able to adapt to your vessel's unique culture. The relief captain's ego must be checked at the gangway.  Our goal at TRC is to ensure continuity and avoid unnecessary stress and confusion for your team. 

Our mission is to provide a competent captain service with a focus on agility; adapting to your program so that your guests and crew feel safe, comfortable and valued while the primary captain is absent. We want to keep the captain's chair warm, and maintain the system. A captain' s leave is hard earned, and we  will ensure they have the time to enjoy it.

Captain Evans holds a commercial USCG 1600 GRT / 3000 ITC Master License. He  is familiar with various flag states and class societies, MLC and ISM. He has operated dozens of yachts throughout the Atlantic region with thousands of sea days cruising and chartering around the Caribbean, Bermuda, Bahamas, Gulf of Mexico, and United States Waters.
